Crowne Plaza Glasgow by IHG

Location, friendly staff, helpful, great room and view, lovely breakfast, good housekeeping, really enjoyable stay. Liked the internal corridor from car park.

My room was a lovely room on the 4th floor with a great view over Glasgow. The Breakfast was excellent, plenty of hot and cold food available. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The Crowne Plaza is a good walk from the city centre there are buses that stop near the hotel & a taxi rank at the hotel but its a lovely walk from the hotel down to the city center along by the river Clyde.

The hotel is in a perfect location. We were attending an event at the Exhibition centre and the views from our room were second to none. The staff were very friendly and the hotel had all the facilities we were looking for, pool sauna and steam room. It was my Husbands birthday and we received a complimentary round of drinks with our evening meal which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was also delicious, lots of hot and cold options to choose from.

After a long drive down from Skye we stopped off at the Crowne Plaza and we encountered a lovely guy called Mohammed on the front desk. He had a smile on his face, explained all the facilities and opening and closing times and brought a smile to our faces. The hotel is very modern I think, but all the staff are lovely and helpful. We had a nice evening meal (slow cooked beef - delish) and breakfast followed by a late checkout. The hotel has a sauna and steam room which we're both welcome and the view from the 9th floor is stunning. A whistle stop tour of Glasgow and back on our travels. Lovely hotel - recommended.

Everything !!! The one bedroomed suite was perfect as there was a sofa bed in the lounge. Rooms were spotless, well equipped, and have everything you need and comfortable beds .The staff were professional and lovely. They instantly made my 11 year old and 6 years old guests feel at ease. The surroundings were beautiful 😍 The hotel was first class. Breakfast was delicious with choices for everyone 😋 The pool was fab !!! We ordered food on our first night from room service, and it was delicious !! The help we received before attending the hotel was amazing The view across the Clyde was stunning I travel to Glasgow a lot and stay in different hotels , the Crown Plaza is my only go-to place from now on ..It will suit all types of travellers. I can honestly state that it is the perfect place to bring children to . I was very impressed by the way my 2 under 16 year old guests were made to feel completely at ease during checking in
